Yes, we welcome new patients.

Advocare participates with most major insurance plans. As participation varies by region, specialty, and physician, we recommend that you contact either our office or your insurance company representative to verify that your insurance plan is accepted.

If you have an urgent medical condition and are a patient of Lawrenceville Internal Medicine we are available to help you during the hours that the office is closed. To speak with our staff call our main office number (609) 896-0303. If your problem is life threatening call 911.

Patients are seen by appointment. We recommend scheduling routine follow up and physical appointments in advance. For patients with an acute illness or medical concern please call the office and we will schedule you for an urgent appointment.

Every effort is made to arrange your well care and follow up visits with the physician of your choice. If it is an urgent matter, you may see any one of our physicians.

You will receive a call quickly with any lab results that require urgent attention. Other abnormal lab results will be addressed promptly by the provider that ordered the labs or tests. Routine normal labs are typically addressed during follow up visits.

The ideal time to request refills is during your appointment with your physician.  However, if your need a refill between appointments please send a request through the portal.  The other option is to call our office during office hours and leave a message on the refill request voicemail.  It may take 2 business days for prescription refills to be processed.

Family doctors are trained to provide for the entire family, from infant to geriatric care. Internists see only patients age 18 and older and have additional training in managing complex adult diseases. Some internists in our practice may treat patients as young as age 16.  We recommend calling the office to determine which doctors will be able to treat adolescents.
